Where imagination and reality collide

I have always had an active imagination. For as long as I can remember, I would get lost in the recesses of my mind. Vivid characters, hair raising adventures, and detailed back stories have always been my escape. When I was in the fourth grade, I told my mother I wanted to be an artist. But I didn’t really know how to draw. Little did I know that slowly I was becoming just what I had imagined myself to be: an artist. My tools of the trade are not canvas, brushes, and paints. They are my words. And with these words, I can create whatever images I desire.
